Water, Sewer, Waste


Water is charged by consumption:
0-5,000 
Gallons (0-22 Cubic Meters) : $70 (Bi-Monthly)
5,001 – 999,999 Gallons (23-4546 Cubic Meters) : $14.00/1,000 Gallons ($3.08/1 Cubic Meter)

Sewer is a flat rate: $40 (Bi-Monthly)

Waste Residential: $73.65 (Bi-Monthly)

Utilities are billed on a Bi-Monthly basis and are billed on actual meter reads every time.
During business hours, bills can be paid by cash, debit or cheque. You can also mail your cheque to the Town Office.
Bills can be paid online through your banking app or by e-transfer as well to town.administrator@hafford.ca

You can set-up your utilities in person at the Town Office during regular business hours. A $250.00 deposit is required to be paid upon setup. If you are a tenant, you will need permission from the owner to put utilities in your name.


Overdue Accounts

Town of Hafford Utility Statements are due within 30 days of date of issuance. Services may be disconnected if your account is not current.

A 5% late payment charge is added to all outstanding water and sewer accounts. A 4% late payment charge is added to all outstanding waste accounts. Utility accounts will be disconnected if they are 90-days in arrears.  Prior to utility arrears being transferred over to your Tax Roll, a 30-day notice period will be given.
